Thank you for this article. You have given us a lot of information necessary for those who have not followed political developments in Pakistan which is a targeted Islamic country like Iran, Syria, Sudan and other countries for destabilization and final division. Thus all forces should resist the Zionist/Imperialist plan in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa and their final goal, which is colonization.
You have written “That Benazir Bhutto was a ‘precious American asset “ perhaps you are right if her death meant to provide the ‘right environment’ for further implementation of the American plan in the region, which is DESTABILIZATION of Pakistan.
The assassination of Benazir Bhutto was desired by the US for number of reasons:

- Provides a situation to make necessary changes within Pakistan military willing to escalate the phony “war on terror” on population which can produce dissatisfaction among ethnic groups.

- At the same time arm and give fund to different ethnic groups to be able to fight back the Pakistani army who are forcing the phony “war on terror” on behalf of the Americans to create further division among population. Then call these groups the “extremist” and the “terrorist” and make more demands from the corrupt Pakistan elites including the right to act alone within the country without any permission against the population with an excuse of fighting against Al Qaeda and Ben Laden who everyone knows, including Musharraf and Benazir Bhutto, that Ben Laden is DEATH. Therefore, one with confidence can claim that there is NO AL QAEDA, in fact, AL QAEDA IS THE UNITED STATES. The same scenario is at work in Iraq and they want to expand their machine war into more countries including Iran.

Pakistan's extensive oil and gas reserves, largely located in Balochistan province, as well as its pipeline corridors are considered strategic by the Anglo-American alliance, requiring the concurrent militarization of Pakistani territory.
Balochistan comprises more than 40 percent of Pakistan's land mass, possesses important reserves of oil and natural gas as well as extensive mineral resources.

The Iran-India pipeline goes through Balochistan. Balochistan also possesses a deep sea port largely financed by China located at Gwadar, on the Arabian Sea, not far from the Straits of Hormuz where 30 % of the world's daily oil supply moves by ship or pipeline. (Asia News.it, 29 December 2007)
Musharraf is willing to go with Iran-Pakistan-India pipeline which is called ‘peace pipeline’ is viewed by Americans against their interest in the region where they want to isolate Iran to put economic pressure for further action including division. Alternative US pipeline is from Turkimanistan to India through Afghanistan. Afghanistan is yet to be stabled and that’s why Americans are threatening Indian as well as Pakistani not to engage in this business which Chaney views this not to be in the interest of the war criminals.

Contrary to your view “In presenting herself as the only Pakistani politician to openly challenge the militants, wasn’t Benazir Bhutto — in effect — also daring them to target her?” I think Behnazi Bhutto’s death does not benefit the militants, however, Bhutto’s death provided a suitable environment for destabilization of Pakistan and make American people to think more about Al Qaeda and “Islamic terrorists” at the time of election to be directed towards those candidates who believe in the status quo which has caused millions of death Muslims and millions more as refugees or have been displaced in their own ruined countries.
