Golly gee, whenever I see an article talking about who is a liar, traitor, deceiver in our criminal congress, who it is actively abetting the continuation of the policies of death, destruction and greed; the one common denominator is always there, looming in plain sight. The neocon Zionist Israel firster traitorous bastards. Always.
I'll vote for anyone, the Devil himself, as long as they tell Israel to kiss their ass. The proof is in the pudding.

I don't have a problem with this description of the 'nature of things' political. I don't disagree with the appeal for support for Kucinich with a bit of financing. I don't disagree with the idea that we should hold Bush-Lite (er, Pelosi) and the other dimmocraps (Conyers, Nadler, etc.) accountable for something other than mediocrity.

But, the phrase: "We are awake now, and we must never go to sleep again" is a pipe dream. Sadly, the reason we buy into the election of these sleazy jerks is because somewhere along the line we have bought into the ideas that 'America is Great,' and 'Capitalism is good.' I, for one, don't think either is demonstrably true ... America isn't great ... and never has been precisely because we have always either been the shock troops of empire (for the Brits until our alleged revolution), or we have been aggressive, greedy, self-righteous bastards (and bitches) from the beginning of the republic.

Sadly, the reality is that the Pelosi is less a woman than an American ... and that is a sad thing. Any demagogue can use that to keep the so called 'patriotic' from doing what is right.

Finally, PLEASE do use my email to complain to me directly ... I really don't mind: rgaylor@pvtnetworks.net ... In the paraphrased words of Michael Moore, I am a librarian, and we do know how radical those people are!

When last I lived in Vacaville, Cindy, I sent money to Howard Dean. I'm almost afraid to send money to Dennis. Now I've gone and bet fifty that you beat Pelosi in the 8th district next year but I'm not even a San Francisco resident. I have a law degree (1966) but I've never practised, and I got to thinking last nite that "Cindy better be concerned about getting her candidacy FILED." So, I went to Findlaw, and I found:

•	United States Code
o	TITLE 2 - THE CONGRESS
	CHAPTER 12 - CONTESTED ELECTIONS
________________________________________
U.S. Code as of: 01/3/05
Section 382. Notice of contest

    (a) Filing of notice
Whoever, having been a candidate for election in the last
preceding election and claiming a right to such office, intends to
contest the election of a Member of the House of Representatives,
shall, within thirty days after the result of such election shall
have been declared by the officer of Board of Canvassers authorized
by law to declare such result, file with the Clerk and serve upon
the contestee written notice of his intention to contest such
    election.
    (b) Contents and form of notice
Such notice shall state with particularity the grounds upon which
contestant contests the election and shall state that an answer
thereto must be served upon contestant under section 383 of this
title within thirty days after service of such notice. Such notice
shall be signed by contestant and verified by his oath or
    affirmation.
    (c) ...

THAT MIGHT MEAN that you do not have to be greatly concerned about formally presenting papers until after election day, 2008, and that Pelosi can waive objections to your contesting her seat if she's so inclined, in any case. But it's basically gobbledegook to me. To me, it's saying, in effect, no one can ever challenge an incumbent for the first time.

The bottom line. Talk to the best lawyer can find, ASAP, about filing to run in the 8th Congressional District.

Sincerely,
Lloyd Rowsey
