I've heard Amy Goodman and other so-called "progressive" used that debasing term. According to the U.N. the people of Iraqi have a RIGHT to resist their occupation and there is NO legitimate government in Iraq while the country remains occupied by the U.S. It’s a disgrace especially among the left whenever they refer to the Iraqi resistance as “insurgents”.
