I workede for Sodexho-Marriott while in College in Arkansas. At the time I was part of the many internationals who worked in the cafeteria since we were not allowed to work off campus. Not only were we overworked but our compensation was barely at minimum wage. On supervising catering, I was given a "raise" of .10 (ten cents!!), and my the Mgr had a big grin on his face talking about "we have some good news for you". What do you think I did? I walked out and basically told them to lick my boots! There is/was a sense of the Sodexho corp to believe that immigrants can be used and labored to death, and paying them is a privilege. Now what I've learned in time is that Sodexho is a reflection of most American Corporations......they are here to milk one to death and use immigration (quote, international) labor until its milked dry. I don't sell my soul - quitting is very easy for me. ps:- I am not an "immigrant" anymore.
