Little sympathy from the world I expect too, with their meddling in foreign countries. The insane 1/2 trillion defense bills of the last 7 years was preperation for the (very predictable) collapse of the US economy. A new reserve currency will have to be resource based (imo) and only Russia and Canada come to mind. Stephen Lendeman has another synopsis in a review of James Petras 's new book, RULERS AND RULED IN THE U. S. EMPIRE. The two synopses agree in all important respects but one. Maavak forsees financial armegeddon soon. Petras predicts that the money wizards will pull another rabbit out of the hat and maintain the manipulative game for some period. Emotionally I have to concur with Maavak Petras is a must listen to wizard, and only a fool would neglect his learning and therefore his words. Either way, every manipulation, will almost surely result in human society taking the biggest hit it has ever taken. This has happened before but the number of humans involved and the overall suffering has no precedent. Interestingly enough, peeyar yuppies Nordhaus and Schellenberger are selling widw eyed optimism via intelligent INVESTMENT.
