What's happening is that everybody is trying to get rid of their dollars, but nobody's dumping their holdings, so as not to knock the bottom out of the market and thereby shoot themselves in the foot. They're "leaking" dollars slowly but surely. The Lobby. After WWI, it was widely believed the the Jews had manipulated Europe into war for their own private profit. That beleif, combined with the idea, with which most modern historians would agree, that Germany had been forced to accept (because of US intervention in the war) an unduly harsh and unjust peace, lead to the Holocaust. It never seems to dawn on the Lobby that by manipulating the world into war, they are in fact proving Hitler right! And some fiction. The US goes to war in the Middle East and loses badly.
