Well, howdy fellow Texas Plains Expat, I have no doubt that George Bush has placed the USA in dangerous postion n the Mid-East, he and the so called experts started a war that they cannot win. The idea of a constitutional , democratic, republic in an area controlled by religious Mullas, and with corruption as a way of life is ludicrous.

While watching the debates, before W. was elected the first time, I experienced a feeling of fear about this "man" and the fact that so many unthinking (incapable of?) people were willing to follow him. Talk about mob rule! He was so ignorant and inarticulate during all of the debates...I couldn't understand how people could be so easilty snowed! And, I could not understand how any of the "talking heads" could say that he had outshone his opponent during any of the debates!

As for the spouses of former presidents: Although Bill Clinton made a stupid, personal error, esp. when he lied (akin to being "caught with his hand in the cookie jar", and, by the way, I think Monica was a set-up...his sexual proclivities were well known). Let's forget Bill and his penis; at the other end of his body is a superior brain and I'm sure he, as well as Hilary, have learned a great deal (much of which most of we, the common people do not know...forget the media and their favorite way of reporting, letting their personal views and preferences getting in the way of factual reporting (given the fact that they often are not aware of what is "fact"). Who does?

Looking at the potential candidates, much as I like John McCain in spite of some of his frequent faux pas, having the Clintons (yes, Bill will have his input) in office again looks like the best choice right now.

I agree that there should not be the two-party system...was registered an Independent until I discovered I could not vote in the primaries. So, what do you suggest as to how this can be changed? What would be necessary to be done to effect this? It's one thing to object to a system; the other action would be to strategize as to how this could be done.

We all are supposed to have a voice. What is yours saying?

Thanks for reading this...if you did.

Biggest consideration right now: Get us out of Iraq!

Sincerely,

Marge Douros
