No slur intended. I am aware that LaRouche has different views from Murawiec. I was simply demonstrating that his career track was unusual to say the least.

Ms. Rajiva's article is a useful one and I applaud her for exposing the "clash of civilizations" policy of Tancredo and the neo-cons around Dick Cheney. However, her characterization of Laurent Murawiec as a "some time writer for Lyndon LaRouche" is misleading. The most accurate description of him is "a one-time writer for Lyndon LaRouche who broke with him over 10 years ago and holds diametrically opposite views regarding U.S. Mideast policy."

To understand who is behind Murawiec and why he broke with LaRouche, read an article at http://tinyurl.com/2s6smg
which was published three years ago. The article reports on the intersection between AIPAC and neo-cons in the Dept. of Defense, including Larry Franklin who worked in the Office of Special Plans, set up by Rumsfeld to "stovepipe" false intelligence to justify the war on Iraq. Franklin pleaded guilty to espionage and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

As the article points out, Murawiec hooked up with Richard Perle to promote a war on Islam long after Murawiec had publicly split with Larouche and disavowed LaRouche's views. LaRouche forcefully opposed a war against Iraq, going back to 2002, and has denounced the "clash of civilizations" policy of Samuel Huntington and Bernard Lewis, which is the basis for the foreign policy of Cheney, the neo-cons and their friends in London. You can read what LaRouche's views of what U.S. policy toward the Middle East should be at http://tinyurl.com/2mmgmz
