I should add though that, from a psychological warfare point of view, it is not the reality of psychotronic engineering, but the mere threat of it, that produces profound (and quite understandable) defensive mass urges towards conformism. When these reach a certain point of abjection, the power holders can begin to reconstruct ‘conformity’ itself, as a guessing game to which only they know the answers (as with Orwell’s O’Brien).
