Spare me, please. Animals are personal beings, and are owed a whole lot more than so-called "mercy". Gassing chickens? If it's wrong and cruel to gas humans, why should it be right and humane to gas animals? Animal advocates should not promote or be grateful for lesser degrees of cruelty. If we really care about the animals who wind up on a plate, we should respect their interest in continued survival. That means not eating them.

This certainly is unconcionable. Denny's is right about that. But it is also, in my opinion, unforgivable. So, suspending any dealings with this House of Raeford farms is all fine and good, but I'd refuse to deal with them at all after this, especially knowing the history of abuse here. What poor specimens of humanity these people are. I hope to God they are punished for their cruelty, to the furthest extent of the law, and preferably beyond. I think that farm, looking at the history of animal and environmental abuse and neglect, ought to be shut down for good. They've proven that they have no intentions of changing their horrifying and criminal ways. Talk about biting the hands that feed you. If it wasn't for those poor chickens and turkeys, they'd be out of a job, a rather lucrative one. What morons.
