Black people don’t need reperations.The black community needs to fight real problems and stop looking for handouts.Blacks have reperations called welfare,affirmative action and not having to live in some 3rd world,disease infested,dictatorship in Africa.Black people STOP buying $200 sneakers,gold teeth and speaking ignorant ebonics.Be like the Asians and study and work hard,save your money and move up in life.Blacks have a 50% plus high school drop out rate,the highest AIDS rate[WEAR CONDOMS!!] the lowest marriage rate and highest divorce rate.Black men are the number one victimizers of fellow black men and black women.Blacks have the highest obesity rates[eat something that's NOT fried!!]Stop blaming Whites,Latinos,Asians and everybody else.Take responsibility and you will prosper.

I have to agree with some of your view points, in particular, the issue with welfare in the inner city.

I grew up in the inner city of Los Angeles in the 70′s, I graduated from an inner city school in 1985, my family lived near the Pueblo projects in South Central LA. Poverty was all around us, the general consensus stood that no one wanted to live in those conditions if it was at all possible. We had no choice!

The people in those areas all were struggling, some worst than others. This struggle was not brought about due to laziness or the inability to want for a decent job, but due to lack of decent opportunities within that community.

During the 70′s most of the factories that were setup after and before the Watt’s riots in 1965, closed up shop because of the riots, nothing was placed back into the area that was comparable.

For many African American men whom worked in those factories, there were no avenues to venture for gainful employment.

To me, it seems that Obama is not in touch with the inner cities communities as he reports to be. I truly wonder where he received the information as to what has transpired all of those years in these areas when he lived in a different economic climate.

I truly wish some reporter would note this fact in a nationally syndicated media outlet. Particular interest should be made to a wonderful documentary created by a former Los Angeles gang member and present actor, “Bastards of the Party,” which aired on HBO.

i think what russell said was right. but then why would we want hillary her husband was good but he wasnt the greatest of all times. bill cliton golfs with george bush sr. george bush gets ideas from his father and look what problems he caused. bill cliton talks to bush sr. and hillary is going to get ideas from him which is the same government for almost like 30 something years. to me either way there’s going to be something wrong with the government.
